Charleston Pediatrics has served two generations of children and remains committed to a model of small accessible care where our experience and efforts can support families in promoting health.
Both of the physicians maintain active board certification from the American Board of Pediatrics, are Fellows of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and have been voted members of Best Doctors in America ongoing since its inception.
Dr’s Quattlebaum and Sperry founded Charleston Pediatrics in 1990 after directing the Pediatric Residency program at MUSC through the 1980’s.
As a small volume practice, we are committed to treating the whole child, giving the time necessary to both medical and behavioral concerns. In addition to regular office hours, our physicians are available by phone for after hours care and we can see urgent care patients on Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays in our office. Additionally, hospital admission privileges are maintained at MUSC , Roper St Francis West Ashley, and East Cooper Medical Center.
Doctors Quattlebaum and Sperry continue to teach nurse practitioner and medical students in our office and are members of the clinical faculty at MUSC. Our low volume practice allows a closer relationship between our practicioners and the children and families we serve. This allows are practitioners to provide diagnostic and ongoing care for complicated GI, endocrine, neuralgic, cardiac, respiratory, and emotional problems.
